Michelle Kennedy, practices Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) in Medford, Oregon.

Michelle is passionate about improving the relationship between parent and child. Michelle has extensive experience and training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and is Certified in both Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, and Positive Psychology. Michelle provides Tele-Therapy and offers Video Conferencing. Michelle is skilled and has worked in a wide range of settings including private practice, outpatient mental health, schools, and non-profit agencies. Michelle is adept at behavioral treatment planning, medical necessity criteria, and coordinating care with multi-disciplinary treatment teams. Michelle is effective in focused goal setting aimed at symptom reduction.

Marriage and Family Therapists (MFT) hold a Masters Degree with an emphasis on psychotherapy and counseling, she is also a member of UC Davis Children’s Hospital. Marriage and Family Therapists are the only mental health (also referred to as Brain Health) professionals who by law complete mandatory coursework in counseling and psychotherapy. Marriage and Family Therapists are known as Relationship Experts and are trained to treat individuals, couples, families, and groups.
